Perfect Brownies

These are delicious. Not too cakey, not too gooey. They're even better the second day if they last that long!!! Can be doubled for a 9X13 inch pan.

1/2 cup butter

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa

1/2 cup flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour an 8 inch square pan. In large saucepan or in microwave, melt butter. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Mix in cocoa, flour, salt and baking powder until just mixed and moistened. Spread into prepared pan. Bake 25-30 minutes. Do not overbake.
