Cherry Chocolate Cake

Quick but still delicious take on a Black Forest Cake. Very moist and yummy.

1 package devil's food cake mix

3 eggs

1 can cherry pie filling

1 teaspoon almond extract

1 cup sugar

5 tablespoons butter or margarine

1/2 cup evaporated milk

1 (6 ounce) package chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix cake mix, eggs, pie filling and extract in mixer. Bake in greased 9 X 13 inch pan for 35 minutes. Mix sugar, margarine and milk in a small pan and boil for 1 minute. Stir in chips until smooth and frost cooled cake.
