Chocolate Syrup Cake

I tried SO many chocolate cake recipes, looking for something really chocolate-y, really moist, really delicious. This recipe is all those things.

1/2 cup butter or margarine

1 cup sugar

4 eggs

1 cup flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 (16 ounce) can chocolate syrup

1 container fudge frosting

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugar together. Beat in the eggs. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Then vanilla and syrup. The batter will be thin. Pour into greased 9 X 13 inch pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Frost when cool.
