Turkey Tetrazzini

1 package (7 ounces) spaghetti, broken into 2-inch pieces

2 cups cooked turkey or chicken breast, cubed

1 cup shredded cheese

1 can reduced-fat cream of mushroom soup

1 medium onion, chopped

1/3 cup fat-free milk

1/4 cup green pepper, chopped

1 jar (2 ounces) diced pimentos, drained

1/4 cup sliced almonds

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

Extra cheese, if desired

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cook spaghetti according to package directions; drain. Transfer to a large bowl; add next ten ingredients and mix well. Spoon into a 2 1/2 quart baking dish coated with nonstick cooking spray, sprinkle with cheese if desired. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until heated through. Makes 8 servings.
