Aunt Joyce's Freezer Corn

I have been making this for years and years. I'll usually get 4-6 dozen ears, depending on how energitic I feel. Once you get the hang of cutting the corn from the cob it doesn't take long to have nice fresh corn all year.

6 cups corn, cut off the cob

3 teaspoons sugar

1 cup water

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup butter or margarine

Put , sugar, water and salt in large pot.  Cook on medium heat for 10 minutes.  Remove from heat and add butter or margarine.  Cool and freeze in containers to fit your family's needs.
