Aunt Irene's Prune Bread

This is from our family cookbook and a note says, "Delicious breakfast bread or holiday bread".

1/2 c. cooked prunes, pitted & cut

1/2 c. prune juice, from cooking prunes

1/2 c. raisins

1/2 c. sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp. baking soda

2 c. flour

2 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

Beat eggs. Add sugar and put in prunes and raising. Add dry ingredients together (sift if you like) and juice. Stir well. Bake in small loaf tins or cans (round vegeble cans). Grease the pans and bake at 350°, approximately 30-45 minutes.
