Mary's Peach Torte

. 2 c. flour

1/4 c. sugar

1/4 c. baking powder

1 t. salt

3/4 c. butter

Combine work in like pie crust. Press into floured and greased 8 in. sq. pan. Arrange peach slices on dough, fresh or 2 1/2 can well drained. Sprinkle with 1 t. cinnamon and 1/2 c. sugar. Bake 400-15 min. Top with 2 egg yolks beaten into 1 c. sour cream. Bake 20 min. til browned. Serve warm with whip cream.
Or use 2c. drained cherries.
