Aunt Lorraine's Teenage Casserole

This was one of the first recipes my aunt contributed to the family cookbook. It is also a part of my own collection. I made this more times than I can count when the kids were growing up. It was so easy and quick to throw together.

Raw, sliced potatoes

1 (16 oz.) can pork & beans

1 sliced onion

Salt & pepper

1 lb. hamburger, or more

1 can tomato soup, or tomato juice

Alternate layers of raw potatoes, hamburger and pork and beans. Season with salt, pepper and onion. Pour 1 can tomato soup or juice over top. Bake 1 1/2 hours at 350°. Take cover off last 1/2 hour.
