Mom's Pizza Bake Dish

According to my mom's recipe card, this was from her friend Margie, but my mom made this recipe SO often, that it has to go down in "family cooking history" as hers. This is the most spotted card my mom has and I made it more times than I can think even before I got married. You will see lots of versions of this recipe in my list here from other aunts and grandma's but this is the one I use. Needless to say, it is also a part of my own Becky's Cookbook collection, we love it too and I haven't changed a thing.

4 oz. noodles

1 1/2 lb ground meat

1 large onion, chopped

1-6oz. can tomato paste

1 can tomato soup

1-8oz. can mushrooms & juice

1 tsp salt

1 T. Worcestershire sauce

1/4 tsp. pepper

1/2 green pepper, chopped

1/2 lb. sharp cheese, grated

1/2 cup water

Brown meat in butter. Add onion, green pepper, mushroom & juice. Cook noodles until tender. Make a sauce of water, soup, paste, and sauce. Then put in layers. Bake 375-45 min
