Autumn Spiced Ham Steak

1 1/2 tablespoons butter

1 ham steak

2 apples, cored and thinly sliced

1/3-1/2 cup maple syrup

cinnamon, as desired

Melt butter in large skillet. Fry ham on both sides until lightly browned. Spread apples around outside of ham and pour over maple syrup. Cook until apples are softened, 5- 10 minutes, turning ham as needed. Serve ham, covered with apples.
