Chocolate Candy Balls

We had these every Christmas as I was growing up. The "old fashioned" is rolling them in the nuts or coconut, but I also do crushed toffee bits or peppermints.

2 pounds dipping chocolate or chocolate almond bark

1 cup whipping cream

Ground nuts, any kind, Flaked coconut, crushed toffee bits or crushed peppermints.

Melt chocolate in double broiler or microwave. Whip cream. Add luke warm chocolate to cream. Beat until mixed. Put aside until cold and not too sticky to handle. This takes a while. Roll into balls. Roll into topping, if desired.
