This was the old standby candy that my kids took to school for their birthdays or any occasion that we had to bring anything. It's still my sons favorites. I found it years and
years ago in a cookbook for healthy recipes for kids. I always add Rice Krispies, it adds a nice crunch. My now grown son still asks for these.
1 1/2 cups peanut butter
1 1/2 cups instant nonfat dry milk
3/4 cup honey
Mix peanut butter and honey. Add instant milk until you have a dough-like consistency, not to dry, but not sticky. Roll into balls. Keep in refrigerator or freeze.
Optional additions: raisins, nuts, sunflower seeds, coconut, carob chips, wheat germ, cinnamon, corn flakes granola or Rice Krispies. Can also roll in sugar sprinkles. (I always add about 1/2 cup Rice Krispies)
