Wholesome Candy

This was the old standby candy that my kids took to school for their birthdays or any occasion that we had to bring anything. It's still my sons favorites. I found it years and years ago in a cookbook for healthy recipes for kids. I always add Rice Krispies, it adds a nice crunch. My now grown son still asks for these.

1 1/2 cups peanut butter

1 1/2 cups instant nonfat dry milk

3/4 cup honey

Mix peanut butter and honey. Add instant milk until you have a dough-like consistency, not to dry, but not sticky. Roll into balls. Keep in refrigerator or freeze.

Optional additions: raisins, nuts, sunflower seeds, coconut, carob chips, wheat germ, cinnamon, corn flakes granola or Rice Krispies. Can also roll in sugar sprinkles.
