Chili

While adding macaroni might not be "chili" to some, that's how it's always been in my family. Delicious!!!

2 pounds ground beef

2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked

1 can tomato juice

1 can stewed tomatoes

1 can tomato soup

2 cans chili beans, undrained

1 green pepper, chopped

1 onion, chopped

3 stalks celery, chopped

1 tablespoon salt

1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder, or to taste

Brown ground beef and drain. Combine all ingredients except macaroni, in a large pot. Simmer for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally. May need to add 2 to 3 cups of water if it gets too thick. Boil macaroni according to package directions and drain. Add before serving.
