Spinach Dip-Kathy

1 (10oz.) package frozen, chopped spinach

1 (8oz.) can water chestnuts, drain and chop (optional)

3/4 cup chopped onion

1 to 1 1/2 envelopes country vegetable soup

1 1/2 cups sour cream

1/2 cup mayonnaise

Mix together and serve with round rye bread or chips.
