Swiss Steak-Peggy

1 large piece round steak

Onions

2 cans whole tomatoes or home canned tomatoes

Salt and pepper

Chopped green pepper

Cut round steak into serving pieces. Salt and pepper. Brown in frying pan until nice and brown. Put in crock pot with tomatoes, sliced raw onions and chopped green pepper. Cover and cook at 250 to 300 degrees for 6 to 8 hours. If home during cooking, stir after a few hours of cooking.
