Prune Bread-Irene

1/2 cup cooked prunes, pitted and cut

1/2 cup prune juice from cooking prunes

1/2 cup raisins

1/2 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 cups flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

Beat eggs. Add sugar and put in prunes and raisins. Add dry ingredients together (sift if you like) and juice. Stir well. Bake in small loaf tins or cans (round vegetable cans). Grease the pans and bake at 350 degrees, approximately 30-45 minutes. Delicious breakfast bread or holiday bread.
