Toffee Bar Candy-Kathy

Salted soda crackers, enough to cover bottom of a cookie sheet

1 cup packed brown sugar

1 cup margarine

1 (12oz.) bag milk chocolate chips

1 cup nuts

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line cookie sheet with foil. Grease foil. Layer with crackers. Melt brown sugar and margarine. Boil 3 minutes. Pour over crackers and spread immediately. Bake 5 minutes. Remove from oven. Pour chocolate chips over sugar and margarine mixture. As soon as chocolate melts, spread chocolate evenly to coat top of candy. Top with nuts. Refrigerate until firm. Before cutting, let stand at room temperature.
