Basic Ground Beef Mix-Becky

1 pound ground beef

1/2 cup chopped onion

1/2 cup chopped celery

1/4 cup chopped green pepper (optional)

In a heavy skillet, cook ground beef with vegetables until meat is browned and vegetables are tender. Drain fat; cool and freeze in approximately 2 cup portions. Use in any recipe calling for ground beef. Multiply this recipe and have several containers on hand in freezer. I make 15 to 20 pound batches and also add ground turkey and/or ground pork for flavor. Nice to have on hand.
