Chow Chow Pickling-Joyce Z.2 heads cauliflower
1 quart carrots
1 1/2 quart cucumbers
1 quart beans
1 1/2 quarts onions
Put cucumbers and onions in 1/4 cup salt and let stand 3 to 4 hours.
BRINE:
5 cups sugar
5 cups vinegar
2 tablespoons turmeric
1 tablespoon mustard powder
If vegetables are big, cut to bite size. After vegetables are in brine, bring to boil and store in jars and seal.
