Crispy Sweet Pickles-Joyce Z.

1 quart dill pickles, any brand

1 1/2 cups sugar

1/2 cup vinegar

1/2 cup water

Throw away pickle juice and quarter or slice the pickles. Cover with ice cubes for 1/2 hour. Bring to boil sugar, vinegar and water. Pack pickles back in original jar and pour hot syrup over them. Cool and refrigerate. Ready to eat right away.
