Oven Sweet Dill Pickles-Joyce C.

BRINE:

1 quart white vinegar

3 quarts water

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 cup pickling salt

Slice cucumbers lengthwise, including small ones; pack into jars with onions and head of dill, and clove of garlic. Boil brine and pour over pickles, then seal the jars. Put in over 1 hour t 200 degrees. Brine should not boil.
