Sure-Jell Easy Strawberry Jam-Lorraine

2 cups crushed strawberries, use potato masher

4 cups sugar

3/4 cup water

1 box Sure-Jell pectin

Mix strawberries and sugar thoroughly; set aside 10 minutes. Stir Sure-Jell with water in saucepan. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute, then remove from heat. Stir mixture together until completely dissolved. Pour into containers. Let stand 24 hours. Store in freezer. Note: Measure sugar exactly, do not change amounts.
