Cajun Pork Chops with Rice-Arlene

6 pork chops, about 3/4 inch thick

1 beef bouillon cube

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1/2 package onion soup mix

1 cup uncooked rice

1 1/2 cups water

1/2 cup water

In a frying pan, brown the pork chops on both sides. Then pour the uncooked rice into the bottom of a greased 9X13 inch pan. Dissolve the bouillon cube in 1 1/2 cups water and pour over rice. Next, arrange the pork chops on top of the rice mixture. Mix the mushroom soup and 1/2 cup water together and pour over pork chops. Sprinkle over top, a half package of onion soup mix. Cover with foil and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
