Apple Crisp-Peggy

8 cups sliced baking apples

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/4 cup sugar

3 tablespoons flour

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Slice apples, mix with lemon juice to prevent browning. Add sugar, flour and cinnamon to apples. Toss to coat. Put apple mixture in 9X13 inch pan, patting to make flat surface.

TOPPING

1 cup rolled oats

1/4 cup flour

1/3 cup wheat germ

2 teaspoons cinnamon

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/3 cup vegetable oil

Combine ingredients; mix well. Sprinkle evenly over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, or until apples are tender.
