Apple Spirals-Peggy

3 tablespoons margarine

2 cups oat bran baking mix

2/3 cup water

2/3 cup finely chopped peeled apple (1 small)

2 tablespoons sugar

1/8 teaspoon ground ginger

2 tablespoons skim milk

Nonstick spray coating

1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar

1 to 2 tablespoons skim milk

In a medium mixing bowl, cut margarine into oat bran baking mxi utnil mixture resembles coarse, crumbs. Add water all at once. Stir just until dough clinkgs together. Let dough rest while preparing the filling.
FILLING: Stir together apple, sugar and ginger; set aside. On a well floured surface, knead the dough gently for 10 to 12 strokes, dough will be slightly sticky. Roll dough into a 8X12 inch rectangle. Brush with the skim milk. Sprinkle the filling over dough. Roll up jellyroll style, starting from one of the long sides. Cut into 12 slices. Spray a 9 inch round baking pan with nonstick coating. Arrange the slices, spiral side up, in the pan. Bake in a 400 degree oven for 18 to 20 minutes, or until golden. Combine powdered sugar and enough of the milk to make a glaze of drizzling consistency. Drizzle over warm rolls. Makes 12.
