Cream Puffs-Karen

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Boil:

1 cup water

1/2 cup margarine (do not use butter)

Add:

1 cup sifted flour

1 teaspoon salt

Use wooden spoon to form a large ball. Remove from heat and let stand 10 minutes. Add 4 eggs, one at a time, and beat with wooden spoon. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spoon on cookie sheets. Not too large, they grow when baked!

CREME FILLING:

1 3/4 cup milk

1 (3oz) package cream cheese, softened

Beat cream cheese and gradually add milk. Add 1 small package vanilla instant pudding and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix thoroughly and refrigerate 1/2 hour. Add 1 cup Cool Whip. Spoon into cooled sliced cream puffs. Top with melted chocolate chips if desired.
