Ice Cream Torte-Lorraine

24 Oreo cookies, crushed

1/3 cup margarine or butter, melted

Mix together. Put in 9x13 inch pan. Cover; put in freezer. Add 1/2 gallon ice cream over frozen Oreo cookies. Put back in freezer.

TOPPING:

2 squares unsweetened chocolate

1/2 cup sugar

1 (5oz) can evaporated milk

1 tablespoon butter

Cook on stove until thick. Put over ice cream (may be hard to spread).

TIPS: When you put the sauce on ice cream, you can put on 1/2 of the mixture, put back in freezer, then put on the rest. Keeps for weeks or months.
