Whipped Topping (Low Cal)-Peggy

1/4 cup ice water

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1/3 cup nonfat dry milk

2 tablespoons sugar

In small mixing bowl, combine water, lemon juice and vanilla. Stir in nonfat dry milk. Beat with mixer on high speed for 3 to 6 minutes, or until soft peaks form. Add sugar. Beat for 1 minute more. Serve immediately. Makes six 1/4 cup servings.
NOTE: If desired, freeze and leftover topping or prepare ahead and store in freezer. Freeze in dollops on waxed paper lined baking sheet until firm. Store in airtight container or plastic bag. To serve, remove dollops from freezer and let stand at room temperature for 10 to 15 minutes, or in refrigerator about 1 hour.
