Cheese Stuffed Peppers-Amy

6 large green peppers

2 1/2 cups cooked rice

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

1/4 cup fine bread crumbs

1 tablespoon butter or margarine

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine rice, salt, pepper and cheese. Stuff peppers; place in a baking pan in 1/2 inch of hot water. Meanwhile, saute' bread crumbs and margarine. Sprinkle over top of each pepper. Bake for 25 minutes.
