Carrots and Cheese Sauce-Kathy

4 cups thick sliced carrots, boil in water and salt

2 tablespoons butter and flour

1 can Durkee's French fried onion rings

1 cup milk

1 cup grated American cheese

Melt butter and stir in flour slowly. Add milk slowly. Add 1/3 cup cheese. Pour sauce over carrots, Durkee onion rings and rest of cheese. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
