Heavenly Onion Casserole-Joyce

2 large white onions, saute' in butter

1/2 pound fresh mushrooms

Thinly sliced French bread, enough to cover

1/2 pound grated Swiss cheese

1 can cream of chicken soup

1/2 cup milk

2 teaspoons soy sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

Place sauteed onions and mushrooms in buttered 9x13 inch casserole dish. Sprinkle on the grated cheese. Butter French bread slices on both sides and cover top. Mix remaining ingredients and spread over the top. Refrigerate overnight or for 2 nights. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
